 
Mr. Barnett practices family law and criminal law. He is one of the
few attorneys in Florida to have been honored by selection in both family law and criminal
law in Law & Leading Attorneys. He represents clients in all issues arising out of
dissolution of marriage including alimony, property distribution, child support, child
custody, visitation, prenuptial agreements and paternity cases. He also represents clients
in all areas of criminal law including felonies of all types both in State and Federal
Court, misdemeanor and juvenile cases. He has practiced law in Florida for 33 years and has given many
lectures in family law and criminal to other lawyers including Representing the Father in
Child Custody Cases and Representing the Corporate President Before a Federal Grand Jury.
He was retained in 1979 by the Florida Supreme Court to lecture on criminal law matters to
the annual conference of County Court Judges of the State of Florida.
In domestic cases he represents approximately an equal number of husbands and wives.
He is AV rated in Martindale-Hubble law directory, and has been recognized in the Bar
Register of Preeminent Lawyers.
